Lord Fauntleroy

Lord Fauntleroy was born in 1886

Just in passing, I copy for you the plot of a creation by
Frances Hodgson Burnett.   Plot taken from Wikipedia:

In a shabby New York side street in the mid-1880s, young Cedric Errol lives with his mother (known only as Mrs. Errol or “Dearest”) in genteel poverty after the death of his father, Captain Cedric Errol. One day, they are visited by an English lawyer named Havisham with a message from Cedric’s grandfather, the Earl of Dorincourt, an unruly millionaire who despises America and was very disappointed when his youngest son married an American lady. With the deaths of his father’s elder brothers, Cedric has now inherited the title Lord Fauntleroy and is the heir to the earldom and a vast estate. Et cetera.

The book might tickle your interest. There is no further reference to it in future blogs.
It is world-class writing. Just as Cafe WIM Guests may be curious how their off-spring will
handle the new school year. There is a distant connection with MANNERS soon coming-up.

Thank you for comments. We have a whole Virtual Cafe WIM to build. Comments are the connection to build-on. A line or two, or three of spontaneous writing that I will put in
my second book that is full of romance, intrigue, mystery and words of sweet nonsense.

Contributions for getting it out in 2016 welcome. Free copy !!  In case you are serious, use internet e-Transfer and send to:  wim.tenholder@gmail.com  The publishing cost is pricey.

Happiness.

Wim

PS My second book is illustrated with pen drawings. W.
