A RESORT IN TOWN

My friendly Guestst and loyal Staff Members, please take a seat.
It was cold. Then the planet turned two times and it is Summer.
Spring is just a nice word. What to do in Summer? I’ll read from

MY BLOG

Should I go somewhere?  Summer just arrived right here.  This
BRITANNIA VILLAGE is fine. I live here. Fresh air, FREE.  Westerly
breezes come in over the river and tons of greenery filters it.

Way back around 1900, the rich and famous had a cottage here.
Then there was a “half-dead” time after the rich had found other
playgrounds. Result: paint peeling poor places. The greenery stayed.

I stayed. There was something special left over from the golden time
when a baroness from Paris, France opened a hotel on Bradford street.
When a real, well managed post-office was in business on Britannia Road.

Just wondering who had a second look still in its free roaming dogs stage.
There are now a number of millionaires’ houses. Owned by people who
said, a yachting facility with tennis courts?

all regular city services, mail at the door?

public transport, little sound, on time?

a conservation park: birds, no dogs?

        both roads recently resurfaced?

nicely curved sidewaks for a Family-stroll?

        a beach with graceful volleyball-players?

        a large perfect sand beach?

a licensed patio with famous burgers?

a bicycle-path with a patio for ice cream?

a vast parkland for off the beach activity?

        a village’ yoga-work-out place?

I am living in a resort: beach, parks, boating, biking.
I am trying to sell my timeshares in Calabogie that I
used for a week of resort-living instead of hotel-cost.
It has free-use of the hotel swimming pool and in the
Winter skiing for all ages. Up with lift, down with delight.
My places are with a “lock-off” part for guests. Leave me
a tel.tape message if all you Honourable Guests and Staff.
I am eager to sell so the price is in your advantage.

Wonderful Guests and Staff to let me talk for so long, reading
from my private dairy.  Look forward to hear your voice.

Thank you Wim for giving us a peak at where and how you live.
We’ll be back. In the mean time consider you lock-off places.
