WIMSICAL DISHES

Chic, elegant Guests and Staff Members, step into the shade of my Virtual Cafe WIM. A cooling suggestion is a hot beaverage. In this dry air wind-swept virtual place, it cools.

After your order comes cleaning work of all plates, drinking vessels and cutlery in the kitchen where all the nice food-arrangement came from. It goes to the cafe kitchen, not your kitchen at home.

The grand luxury of eating and putting your plate aside. It is a luxury that high income people can affoird. Not always. My uncle struggled deciding on going out or hire someone.

Yet, the washing-off dishes is a useful time. Enjoyable. Start with finding soap that is a pleasure to smell. I suggest the lavendar aroma. To be followed by ‘divide et impera.’

That is to separate the cutlery from plates and containers. By using a cleaned-out yogurt tub filled with warm water and a drop of soap, the cutlery goes in it, all points down.

All dishes land in a larger tub. Again warm water and a drop of the great smelling soap. While washing there is the review of the day. Think of the news, or writing concepts.

Rush the cutlery through the soap water, rinse with hot water, throw on a towel. Dry-off thinking of the most enjoyable food brought to the table by the best Family cook.

Leave plates and such on a rack to dry. Afford yourself a coffee or other nourishment.  What is an almost unsurmountable distaste for a pile of dish-washing sitting there. Gone.

Music please. At a point that my concerns at the Sussex Drive location were challenging, Robert Terbeek walked into the cafe kitchen and inserted a disc. Paolo Conti. !!

A “pile of dishes sitting there” happens to so many that relating some experience is good for future impementation. I do thank Robert Terbeek for his superior find. GREAT.

If you are a fan of this cafe, allow me as a fan of yours in your kitchen. Come back next week for a moment away from daily routines to be inside Virtual Cafe WIM. Yes?
